Tía Vero (mi madrina) no hay palabras suficientes para describir el vacío que dejas, pero sobre todo, la huella tan profunda que marcaste en mi vida. Fuiste, sin duda, una de la persona más amorosa y desinteresada que he conocido. Desde el día en que nací, estuviste a mi lado. Crecí sintiendo tu presencia en cada etapa, y aunque la distancia física se interponía, tú siempre encontraste la forma de estar cerca. Tu entrega no sabía de fronteras; siempre estuviste pendiente de mí y de mi familia, demostrando lo que significa querer "en la salud y en la enfermedad". Nunca olvidaré que viniste a cuidarme cuando estuve tan enferma, ni tus viajes constantes a Chile, siempre preocupada por el bienestar de todos nosotros. Llevo conmigo tu apoyo en cada paso de mi vida y carrera; ese primer estetoscopio que tengo gracias a ti es el símbolo de cómo creíste en mí desde el principio. Me acompañaste en los momentos que definieron mi vida: cruzaste océanos para visitarme en Australia y estuviste presente en mi matrimonio en Chile, celebrando mi felicidad como si fuera la tuya. Pero el recuerdo que guardaré con más tesoro fue verte allí, al pie del cañón, durante el nacimiento de Josefina. Gracias por darme la mano en ese momento tan importante, por tu ayuda incansable con ella cuando era una recién nacida y por enseñarme, con el ejemplo, lo que es el amor incondicional. Te quiero muchísimo tía. Te fuiste físicamente, pero te quedas conmigo en cada latido y en cada rincón de mi corazón. Gracias por todo. Karina.

Our deepest condolences to the Arancibia family. One of my memories of Vero was how much she loved flowers and gardens; they were always so beautiful and perfectly cared for. I will also always remember how she had a special way of making everyone feel so welcome and comfortable. She will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace. Love from Natalie & Kevin Long

Que linda te veías hermanita en esta foto del año 1977 cuando disfrutabas tus 20 años y tu bebe Cristian tenía un par de meses, velo ahora convertido en un gran hombre. Con la juventud y la perseverancia de esa joven soñadora que ni se imaginaria qué su vida, daría un vuelco para vivir finalmente en Canadá desde 1986, siguiendo a tu amor de siempre Eric. Luego te convertiste en una excelente madre de dos varones, Alex y Jonathan , que llegaron a iluminar nuevamente tu vida y tu hogar. Viajaste a Chile cada vez que pudiste siendo la primera vez en Agosto de 1989 con Jonathan en tu vientre, asi de aguerrida fuiste siempre. Trajiste la felicidad a tus padres y hermanos que soñaban con verte. Siempre viniste a Chile por algun hecho especial, porque aunque te fuiste lejos ,nunca olvidaste tus raíces .La tercera foto fue para conocer a tu sobrina Constanza ,porque lo guaguatera fue unas de tus grandes características. Hermanita hay tantos recuerdos en mi memoria que podría llenar yo solo este álbum. Como me dijiste en tus últimas palabras " no llores más por mi hermanito, yo estoy viendo un jardín verde donde encontraré a mi papa" . Espero lo hayas encontrado hermanita. Te amo y nunca,pero nunca, te olvidaré. Enrique.

Vero had the kindest eyes, warm and welcoming in a way that made you feel instantly at home. Though our paths crossed only briefly, and despite the language barrier between my English and her Spanish, every moment spent with her and the Aranciba family was filled with genuine warmth and joy. She had that rare gift of making everyone feel like family, no matter where you came from or whose relation you were. In her presence, there were no strangers—only people she hadn't yet had the chance to embrace as her own. Her welcoming spirit and infectious warmth created a space where laughter came easily and differences melted away. Though I didn't have the privilege of knowing her as well as I would have liked, the brief moments we shared left a lasting impression of a woman whose kindness transcended words. The Aranciba family's warmth is a beautiful reflection of the love she poured into this world.
