I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Carla at our place of work. She was such a kind, generous, person. An easy to get to know and down to earth type and was always willing to help out a co-worker. She quickly became a friend. She always had a smile on her face and was happy to see you or hear from you. Carla was always positive light in the office. She was very courageous with her battle and never complained. She will be missed by everyone she touched. Rest In Peace Carla xo

You were one of the most beautiful people I have ever know, so kind, and funny. Always went out of your way to help anyone, you were truly a special woman. We had so many great times, from Sunday dinners, going to family get togethers, pretty much anywhere you were we always had a great time. Whether you were singing or telling jokes you were always just a joy to be around. I especially enjoyed having you there while we were planing my bridal shower and the wedding. You were so helpful and creative. I am forever grateful to you for raising such a wonderful son who I am lucky to call my husband, and making me feel like I was part of the family. I met Carla years ago through our families. It was a great honour to attend her and Sam's wedding back in 1988. Time passed and life carried on, it was nice to reconnect from years gone by through facebook. Reminding me what a lovely person she was, our chats were few as life went on but I will always remember Carla for the wonderful kind and loving person she was and will forever be. I had the pleasure of meeting you a few times, our daughters friendship allowed our interduction. You came to our daughters wedding and our family was so honored to have you present. When I heard of your battle I hoped for the best. With technology today I thought your battle would have been a success, I’m extremely sadden that your battle was loss to this ugly disease that takes so many loved ones any any time and many times within such short notice. Dearest Pietro and family- I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Carla was not only loved and respected by all of you- she was loved by my son Pierre. When I dropped him off at your family's home, I was always greeted with kind words and genuine interest. I know why my son loved spending time with your family! You were such a good friend- but your mom and dad always expressed interest in everyone who came to their door and made people feel welcomed and cared for. There was always good food, good conversation, a lot of laughter and deep love for one another within your home. I feel blessed to have known your mother and grateful all of you shared your lives with my son! God bless you and your sisters and your dad.
