On behalf of all the members of The Whitby Curling Club we want to thank Jim for all the years he spent with us. Jim was far more than just a member, he became part of the family. He was always volunteering on committees and making sure our club was always getting better. This legacy he left will carry on for many years. Mary Jane and Jim winning the 5th Bartender Award in 1998 sums up what they meant to our club. They were always in for a good time and that was infectious. Now, lets not overlook that Jim was also a pretty good curler. He always acted calm and relaxed on the ice, but that is when he would strike and before you knew it he was ahead by 4 points.
Our condolences go out to all his friends and family.
Good Curling, Jim.

We will cherish the memories of the time we spent with Jim. During his visits to our house in London, we enjoyed listening to him reminisce about his time at Western. His love of his family was so evident. Our deepest condolences to the family.
