Obituary of Jacqueline Mary MacPherson

Jacqueline Mary Mac Pherson (Jackie)

July 19th, 1952- May 11th 2025

Jackie passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day with her close family and friends by her side.

Beloved wife to Art, and mother to Julie(Mark) and stepson Gary (Regina).

Loving Nana to Mercedes, Jaidyn, Marcos and Madison and aunt to Dee Dee and Kevin.

Predeceased by her mother Martha, father Elmer and sister Cathy.

Jackie was born in Powassan, Parry Sound to Martha Pawliw and Elmer Ferguson on July 19, 1952.

She graduated from Don Mills Collegiate Institute.

Jackie loved cruising and spending time with family and friends. She was one of a kind with a contagious smile and will be missed by many.

Memorial donations can be made to Durham Regional Cancer center.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Lakeridge health Oshawa C6 oncology staff who provided exemplary care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday, May 16, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, Ontario. L1J0C7. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
