Annalie "Benji" Acosta, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away early May 18, 2025 from late-stage cancer. She was the oldest of nine children, born in the Philippines. After graduating as a mechanical engineer in Central Luzon Polytechnic College (now University), she met her husband, Mario, early in her career. They worked and travelled together from the Philippines, Taiwan, The United States, and finally retiring in Canada.

A woman of many talents; Annalie excelled in archery, yarnwork, doll crafting, painting, video editing, voice work, and translations. Discovering videogames later in life, she spent much of her time online playing Stardew Valley with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her husband travelling, and camping.

Annalie is survived by her loving husband, Mario Acosta; her two children, Marian Josephine (Joshua) and Jean Mario; three grandchildren; Faith, Grace, and Luke; her mother, her three sisters, her four brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed.
