Rick and Family,
My husband, Gerald and I would like to send our deepest condolences to you and your family.
Micheline was very sweet. Although we corresponded via messenger for a very short time, I was honored to have had the chance to get to know her.
Gerald is her cousin, nephew of Micheline's biological birth mother. Rest peacefully, Micheline.

I was so saddened to learn of Micheline's passing. We are distant cousins through her mother Audrey and when Micheline would write to me or make a comment on Facebook, she'd always refer to me as "cuz". My brother Paul, mentioned the very same thing when I passed on this sad news to him.
When I think of Micheline, I always remember the perfect ringlets in her hair as a little girl. My memories of her in high school are of a person who was cheerful and kind, with a somewhat mischievous twinkle in her eye.
I haven't seen Micheline in years, but from Facebook I learned that she found a wonderful husband in Rick and that her faith continued to be a big part of her life. I hope to see her in Heaven again someday and I echo the sentiment shared from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18: "May our Lord, Jesus Christ watch you sleeping until His return. Then we shall meet Him in the clouds together."
A donation in memory of Micheline was made to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
Rest in Peace Micheline, until Jesus comes again to take us home.

My deepest condolences may she rest in peace. I knew Lion Micheline and Lion Rick Lush very well as past members of the Ajax Lions Club. My husband Len Crocker had a special connection with Micheline having come from the same town in Newfoundland. I will miss Micheline's smile, her Bible passages and her helpful ways.

Micheline was 9 years old in the Sabbath School class that I taught at the St. John's Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a beautiful young girl who was very attentive and she always memorized her Bible verses. There was one thing that Micheline said that stays with me to this day. She told me that she was adopted, and that her Mom and Dad told her that of all the children who needed adoption they chose her! "They chose me from all the boys and girls there who needed a new home!" I thought, what a wonderful thing to say too a child! It boosted her self esteem and made her who she grew up to be. What wonderful parents she had. And they raised a beautiful young woman. My sincerest sympathies to her husband Rick and all her extended family and friends.

Dear Rick and the Rhéaume family,
So sorry to hear about the loss of Micheline this week.
She was my childhood friend, playing outside on Donovan Street in Mount Pearl, NL. We got back in touch on Facebook in recent years and she sent me several cards in the mail.

Dear Rick, It is hard to find words of comfort when you have lost someone as special as Micheline. I will always treasure the day you got married at Hope CC. Your love for each other was always evident and Micheline always had such great things to say about you. As your grief is personal to you, know that you are being upheld in prayer by many. God by his Spirit comfort you in the days ahead. Sincere condolences.

To the family of my dear friend Micheline. Micheline and I became friends many years ago in high school. I think of all the Fridays' I took the school bus home to Micheline's house to stay overnight. I went to practice the organ before playing in church on Sabbath morning. Micheline and her parents became my second family. My heart has an empty space in it; my mind is flooded with precious memories of our time together. May God be with you Rick and Micheline's family as you grieve the loss of such a special person. I look forward to seeing her again "on that beautiful shore." My deepest condolences.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Micheline?
A: Micheline and I met while working at Tim Hortons and she truly was like the momma bear to us all. She always cared about what we were up to in life and how we were. I will never forget her silly antics and her sense of humour. Micheline would give you the shirt off her back if you asked, she loved with everything in her and truly was one of a kind and I’ll miss her so much.
