Peacefully, on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the age of 55 years, Micheline Audrey Lush passed away, with her devoted husband Rick by her side, in Oshawa, ON. Micheline was born on January 9, 1970, in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She was the beautiful daughter of adoptive parents, Audrey & Arthur Rheaume of St. Phillips.

She attended the SDA church and Academy, joining the Pathfinders and years later becoming a Pathfinder leader, with numerous honors. Michie graduated in 1989 & then studied Administrative Secretarial at Compu College School of business, graduating the year of 1992.

She met her husband Rick Lush on February 22, 1999, on social media and they fell " head over heels" in love. They were totally devoted to one another. They became members of the Lions Club & spent their spare time as volunteers. The Salvation Army-Hope Church & Community Services in Ajax became their place of worship. They loved helping with programs and doing volunteer work there, as well. These organizations became a wonderful part of their lives.

Micheline was witty, intelligent, with a great sense of humor. She was a loving, kind Christian lady who had great empathy and Godly love for others. Weekly, she would send beautifully handmade cards to family, friends & acquaintances, brightening & uplifting their lives. Every day she posted Bible texts on Facebook, bringing comfort to others.

Micheline was a precious blessing to all who knew her. Rest in peace Michi….

Micheline is predeceased by her father, Arthur Louis Rheaume (2017), brother, Edward Best (2019), brother, Randolph Carl Best (2001), father-in-law, Clifford Lush (2018), mother-in-law, Angela Lush (2006), & biological mother, Cynthia Temple.

She is survived by her loving husband Rick, brother -in-law, Lush(Oshawa , ON), Bryan Lush/Jane (Wabush, NL), mother, Audrey Rheaume (St. John’s, NL), Sister, A. Janis McDonald (Avondale, NL), and brothers, Garfield Best/Jackie (CBS, NL) Richard Best/Lisa (Vernon, BC), Wayne Best/Lynn (Omemee, ON), The Rheaume Family (Quebec), The Temple Family (Norman's Cove, NL) and numerous friends, family and acquaintances.

Micheline is resting at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr., Oshawa, Ontario for visitation from 5:00 pm - 8: 00 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025 and 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025, with a funeral service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel.

A Lions Service will be held at the Funeral Home on May 29th at 7:00 pm Lions family members are asked to congregate at 6:30 pm for the service. Just so everyone knows, you do not need to be a Lions Club member to attend.
