Obituary of Harry Ward

Harry Vernon Ward passed away peacefully at the age of 80 with his family at his side on July 13, 2025 at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital.

Born on May 27, 1945 in Grand Falls Newfoundland to the late Francis and Simon Ward.

Loving husband to Louise of 60 years.

Predeceased by his Brothers Calvin (Heather) and Clarence (Madeline). 

Survived by his brothers Charlie (Peggy), Franklin (Linda), Roger (Kathy) and sister Joy (Cecil).

Loving father to Vernon (Michele) and Derek (Kelly).

Cherished Poppy to Riley (Randi), Graeme and Meredith (Jack) and Big Poppy to Adam (Riley and Randi).

Survived by his loving sister in laws Margaret, Bernadette, Donna, Christine and brother in law Michael.

And respected Uncle who will be missed by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

A celebration of Harry’s life for Family will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home located at 1289 Keith Ross Dr., Oshawa on Saturday, July 26th at 12:00 pm.

Donations can be made to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
