Glenn Russell Sargent
June 19, 1949 - July 11, 2025

Glenn passed away in his 76th year, at Port Perry Place LTC after a brief illness with his daughters by his side.
Glenn grew up in the beaches neighbourhood of Toronto with his loving family. After graduating from Danforth Tech he worked many jobs including Allstate insurance, DRG packaging and Colgate Palmolive before retiring from Sony Music.
Glenn’s happy place for many years was his trailer at Goreski’s trailer park in Port Perry which he enjoyed with friends and family.

Glenn is pre-deceased by his mother and father Margaret and Russ Sargent
He is survived by his daughter Jerri Lee Newton (former son-in-law Christopher) daughter Janice Bassett (son-in-law Troy)
Granddaughters Caitlyn Mills (Mitch), Tori Bassett, Karly Bassett
Sister Donna Sargent, brothers Alan Sargent, Paul Sargent
His nephew Graham Sargent and his Fiancée Megan

The family would also like to express their immense gratitude to the care team and staff at Port Perry Place LTC. Glenn loved so many of them and considered them his family as well.

Glenn’s favourite colour was blue. The family requests that you find something blue to add to your attire in his honour.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer society or the Alzheimer’s society of Canada.
