Bernard André Bonneau

February 10, 1935 – July 25, 2025

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bernard Bonneau, who departed this life on July 25, 2025, at the age of 90, at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa.

Born and raised on a farm in Valcourt, Quebec, Bernard grew up with strong values of hard work, integrity, and family. These values became the foundation of his life. He went on to build a successful stone masonry business, with his sons following in his footsteps.

Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Jeanne, and their children Daniel, Carole (Henri), Alain, Colette, Normand, and Lina (Chris). He was a cherished grandfather to fifteen grandchildren: Nikki (Andre), Kristine, Erik (Jessa), Kenny, Mathieu (Mylene), Ryan, Renée (Tyson), Kathleen (Kyle), Justin, Meagan (Howie), Ashley, Patrik, Mark, Jackson and Brooklyn. He also leaves behind fifteen great-grandchildren: Codie, Harlee, Jake, Evan, Bronwyn, Leah, Luna, Beaumont, Xavier, Noah, Oliver, Oakley, Billy, Abigail, Amelia, and Clara. He is also survived by his brother Réjean.

We’ll miss you deeply, Dad/Papie. You will live on in our memories and remain forever in our hearts.

For those wishing to do so, flowers or donations in Bernard’s memory to the Alzheimer Society are welcome.
