Obituary of Abbie Gayle Viola

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Abbie Gayle Viola on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Born on May 21, 1980, in Toronto, Ontario, Abbie was 45 years old.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Matt; her son, Nikolaos; and her stepchildren, Ben and Maddie. She will be forever cherished by her parents, Angelo and Monique; her sister, Jocelyn; her brother, Sebastien; her sister-in-law, France; her nephews, Orion and Leo; and her nieces, Raphaelle and Ellie. And most importantly, she leaves behind her beloved, Scooter.

Abbie's spirit, love, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in her honour to Sick Kids.

Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa on Wednesday, August 6th from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm.
