Obituary of Alex Biro

Alex  Biro    May 14 1925 - Sept. 24 2025

Alex, at 100 years plus,has passed away but will be able to join his wife Louise, who passed in 2022, in time to celebrate her birthday on September 26th !!

He leaves behind his daughter Barb  {Ron} ..loved grandchildren Tara  {Dejan}  Brad  {Alicia} and his two most precious great grandchildren Erica and Mila.

Alex is the last of his family predeceased by his parents and three sisters, Mary, Barbara and Irene.  He kept his many nieces , nephews and extended family members in mind over the years.  Born in Mezokovesd  Hungary he came to Canada at age 12 living in Montreal where he met his future wife Louise years later.  They married in 1946 and moved to Oshawa after he had bought a lot and began building his home in 1952.  Alex joined his brother in law in business under the name Kastel and Biro specializing in kitchen cabinets for a number of years before accepting a position with Millwork and Building Supplies where he retired in 1982.  He was a talented cabinet maker and would proudly design and build anything he set his mind to with detail and expertise.

A private family gathering will be held at DeStefano  Funeral Home where we will say our good byes.       Love you “Charlie”
