Obituary of Plick Muzeze Mbunzama
We mourn the loss of Plick Muzeze Mbunzama, born January 1, 1957, in Mabala, Mai-Ndombe. A devoted husband, father and respected businessman, Mr. Plick lived a life marked by dedication to family and to the professional community he helped shape.
After completing his secondary education and earning his state diploma in 1975, he spent several years in Switzerland before returning to Kinshasa in 1980 to further his training at the Customs School. On December 8, 1980, he married Sandrine Lisasi, who stood by his side through the years that followed. Together they raised a large and loving family: Mr. Plick was the proud father of 11 children and grandfather to 15 grandchildren.
In 1983 he turned to entrepreneurship, founding two customs agencies — Full Business Express and AIT Transit. Through hard work, vision and integrity, he rose to become one of the most prominent freight forwarders and customs brokers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
Mr. Plick’s legacy is one of professional excellence and deep family devotion. He will be remembered for his leadership in the customs and transit sector, his entrepreneurial spirit, and the warmth and strength he brought to his family and community.
