Dear Randy,
we are very sorry to hear that Christa has passed away. We are glad that she passed away peacefully and did not have to suffer. We are glad that we had the opportunity to get to know Christa. She was a kind-hearted person.
We really enjoyed visiting her and it was a pleasure to talk to her about her family and the past. We learned a lot that we didn't know before. For me, she was the grandmother I never had in Germany. I also really enjoyed our phone calls and it was always nice to talk to her. I was always amazed at how sharp she still was and how interested she was in everything. I will miss her and our conversations very much.
We wish you and your family much strength and hope you get through this difficult time. Love and warm regards to all from me, Claudia, and from Dirk, Daniel, and Pia, Burg, Germany
