Thank you for always checking in on my mom (Mitzi) at Marion Place. You came to check on her, sometimes concurrently, but with mom’s memory also fading, every visit was “new” and she always had a big smile for you Maria. I hope you will play some music for her while she knits for you in heaven. Lots of sincere thanks and love to you. Frank.

Q: What will you never forget about Maria? A: I will never forget how she reached out to me, calling me by phone, on a weekly basis when I was going through chemotherapy and radiation to treat my breast cancer. It was a small gesture with a huge impact on my recovery. She always reminded me that she was praying for me. Maria, may you rest in peace. Always in my heart, Josephine
