Always a light at the entrance of the Lord’s Sanctuary. A great big radiant smile, a strong warm hand shake, an intriguing tale and an infectious laughter as his eyes twinkled. This was the signature experience when you encounter John, this saint of Christ… for the many years I know him and his wife Marianne. Tears of joy shed for this man of God is in celebration of his life - as he rest in sleep, awaiting to eminent return of Jesus the Christ. Shalom!

John was such a friendly and caring man. We have fond memories of speaking with him in the church lobby. He wouldn’t just say Good morning and move on but would always have a pleasant conversation with us. He was never rushed and he made us feel like he really cared. What a lovely man he was! He will definitely be missed by many. We have moved away now so unfortunately won’t be able to attend his Celebration of Life service.
