Brian was the kind of man you could always rely on. Whether it was something big or something small, he was there to help without hesitation.
When it came to Michael, he was especially generous with his time, his support, and his love, and I’ll always be grateful for everything he did for us.
I’ll remember Brian with a baseball game on, relaxed and content, enjoying something he loved.
Those quiet, simple moments say everything about the kind of person he was, steady, kind, and always there for his family.
I’m proud that Michael got to know his Grampy, and I’ll make sure he grows up knowing what kind of man Brian was and how much he loved him.
Rest in peace, Brian aka Grampy
Love,
Christopher

Gramps, I remember this day like it was yesterday. You Dono and I got up bright and early, loaded the canoe and took off to Kingston Mills. We paddled around the lake, you at the front Dono on the floor in the middle and me at the rear. We caught some fish and some rays. When we needed to stretch we found what we thought was an abandoned dock ( turns out it wasn't, but luckily the owners were not home).
There was a big black decoy snake on the dock that we at first thought was real, that gave the 3 of us a good scare. After being on the lake all day we headed in. It was a great day!

Had the pleasure of working with Brian for almost 10 years. I’ll miss how he always said exactly what he meant—and really meant it. His fiery moments always came from a place of passion, and his heart was even bigger. He knew his stuff better than anyone and worked harder than everyone. Going to miss him

Brian, there is so much I want to say but how do I put into words how much I will miss you and how much I adored the friendship we had. I will miss how you gave me crap. The way you would be down the aisle and shout my name "PEN!", I knew I was gonna get it. I would walk down to you and you would cock your head to the side and vent. You would tell me what was bothering you (at length), quite often telling me that you're "not impressed". And when you would finish I would say, "how ya doing, Brian?". And we would smile and laugh and you would grab my arm and say, "How ya doin', young lady?" I will miss hearing you call me "young lady". I will miss swapping stories that start with "you won't believe the customer I just had". I will miss hearing the happiness in your voice when you would tell me about the wonderful interaction you had with someone. Brian, you have been a very good friend to me. Every holiday,Mothers Day, Easter, Canada Day, whatever the occasion, you never missed sending me a text to wish me well. It always meant a lot. Like clockwork, I would get your text and it always made me feel so special that you would take the time. I will miss how you always looked out for me. "You look tired - Don't work so hard!" And I would say "You First!" My beast of a pack down machine! Brian, for more than 10 years, your friendship has meant so much to me and I can't thank you enough for the fond memories I have and will always cherish. Thank you for the wisdom you have shared with me, your patience, your kindness and all the laughs.
I love ya and miss you,
Penny

My Grampy
You will always be the Grampy that would pour freezing cold water on me while I was in the bath and make me scream for Nanny, but you were also the one who carried me upstairs to bed, The one that would tuck me in at night and kiss me good night. This time, it was my turn to tuck you in and give you a good night kiss. Thank you for always watching Mr. Michael for me while I went to work! Not every Great Grandparent gets to meet their Great Grandchildren but you did! you got to spend 17 years with Donovan and just about 11 years with Michael. Thank you for always being the best male role model Kevin and I ever had. Moments like these I will cherish in my heart for ever. I will miss you everyday until we meet again, I will always be your special girl.
love your girl Meghan

Grampy's Embrace
I’ll never forget the way he said 'Hi Dear" with a kiss on the cheek and an embracing hug. His smile and laugh made the room feel lighter, somehow.
His love was gentle, emotional, and unforgettable — a gift I’ll carry with me forever.
I love you Grampy.

Brian, you will be dearly missed by myself and everyone in the 'Plumbtrical' department. Thank you for your many years of assisting our customers and ensuring they get what they need and know how to use/install it. As well as your dedication to keeping aisle 35 and 36 clean and organized.
You passed on so much knowledge not only to our customers, but the associates in the store. I remember when I first started out in the department, you helped me gain the knowledge and confidence required to assist people and tackle my own plumbing projects.
Thank you once again for being a great associate, colleague, golf buddy and friend. My condolences to his family and everyone he touched.
