Obituary of Gilberte Cyr

Cyr, Gilberte (née Nadeau) – passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the age of 89.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Andrew (2006) and her son, Louis (2011). Loving mother of Michael (Sharon) of Oshawa, ON and Beverly (David) of Whitby, ON. Cherished grandmother (Mémére) of Joshua (Milfer), Timothy and Nicole.

Gilberte will be resting beside her husband, Andrew, her son Louis, her parents, Mr. Levite Nadeau and Mrs. Alphena (Martin) Nadeau, her brothers Gilles, Roger, Ronald and sisters Jeannine and Marthe.

Donations to the Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Visitation will take place at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 16th at 10:30 am at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Oshawa.
