Obituary of Bosko Boskovski

Please share a memory of Bosko to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Bosko Boskovski.

Bosko was born on July 22, 1940, in S. Graesnica to father, Pandil and mother, Spasa. As the youngest sibling of 5 children, Bosko, grew up helping his family farming in the village but he knew that his path was to lead him to a different life. Looking forward to a bright and prosperous future, Bosko made the trek to Australia in 1960. It was the perfect pathway which ultimately led him to Canada. In a very short time, Bosko set up a life in Canada and bought his first home, ready for a family to fill. He returned back home in 1966, when he met his wife, Velika. They chose to start their beautiful marriage of almost 60 years in Canada. In 1968, they welcomed their first son, Pande, then in 1971, their youngest son, Denny, was born.

Bosko was a great family man, teaching his kids how to fish, life lessons, gathering together with family and friends, enjoying the company of his Macedonian community, and very involved in helping build St. Nedela church.

He was a very proud man, and it was made very apparent when he became grandfather to Daniel and Adriana. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was happy to pick them up from school, and treat them to Burger King.

Bosko is free from his earthly constraints and will certainly enjoy an eternity of rest and peace, amongst his parents, sisters and extended family. Bosko will be greatly missed by his wife of 60 years, Velika, children, Pat, Denny and Cindy, and grandchildren, Daniel, Çağla, Adriana and Aidan, family, friends, and the Macedonian community. Although he struggled these last few years, Bosko was overjoyed that both his grandchildren were engaged.  We are sure he has a heavenly fishing rod in hand and reeling in a big catch for dinner!

May he rest in eternal peace. Bog da go prosti.
