Obituary of Antonino Villanti

It is with heavy hearts that the Villanti family announce the passing of Antonino (Tony) Villanti on Saturday March 14, 2026 at the age 66.   

Beloved brother in-law to Elda Villanti and proud uncle to Angela (Angelo), Gianmarco, and Giovanna (Quinn). Loving great-uncle to Victoria, Antonio, Lucia, Madison, Vincenzo, and Gabriella. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni Villanti and Angelina Molica-Bisci, and his brother Vincent Villanti.  

Known for being a jack of all trades – from IT technician to home repairs - his expertise in “MacGyvering” anything on hand, left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Tony took pride in his work with dedication and passion and always lent a helping hand to family and friends. His quirky humour and ironic wit will forever bring a smile to our faces.  

He will be missed at Sunday family lunches and whenever a repair is needed!  

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr, Oshawa, ON L1J 0C7. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1:30 pm at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON L1N 2S2.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tony may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
