Obituary of Grace Dhanpaul Baboolal

In loving memory of our dear mother, Grace Dhanpaul-Baboolal, who passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85.

Beloved wife of Mitchell Baboolal (passed 2016). She was the loving mother of Andy Baboolal, Barry Baboolal (wife Lisa Kristensen) and Colin Baboolal (wife Sha Jiang). Sister to Joan Parrage (husband Jai Parrage),  Nell Debra Dolly Oudit, Shantie Dhanpaul and Jim Dhanpaul (wife Lida Dhanpaul) and Shirley Sawh (passed).  Beloved and cherished grandmother to Mitchell Baboolal (only grandson) and Liberty Jiang (only granddaughter). Aunt to Allison Parrage, Matthew Parrage, Sheldon Parrage (wife Cassia and daughter Alana-Marie), Sean Ramadeen, Kathryn Ramadeen, Edward Dhanpaul and Amrita Sawh. 

Grace will be deeply missed by all her relatives and friends both here in Canada and in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Our mother was a kind, caring, loving person who always cherished her faith, family and friends. 

Mom you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr, Oshawa, and Saturday, May 9th from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Road, Ajax.
