Elvira “Vera” Robinson 

(née Schneider)

May 23, 1940 – April 20, 2026

Vera has reunited with the love of her life, Alec Robinson, after years of embracing independence, demonstrating strength, and living life on her own terms. A woman of immense warmth and unfiltered wit, she will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Vera had a remarkable green thumb, a deep love for animals, and an enthusiasm for swimming. Renowned for her cooking, she was always eager to enjoy a game of Rummikub with her dear friend or play cards with her great-grandkids.

Predeceased by her beloved sons, Anthony “Tony” and Walter “Wally” Kashahub, along with her grandson, Aaron. However, her legacy of strength and beauty lives on through her daughter, Patty Ann (Bob Moore); her grandchildren, Joelle (Jay Dowie) and Matty-Man; and her great-grandchildren, Josephine and Jacob. She will also be greatly missed by her brother Ed (Diane) and nephews; her sons, Mark, “Bobby” (Lois), and Shaun; as well as her other grandchildren, Jaclyn, Cole, Kirk, Stacey, Robbie, Shaun Jr., and Ryan.

However, it is perhaps her friends, whom she cherished deeply, who will miss her the most.
