We loved this guy!
We came up from West Virginia on March 13 to visit with Arnold. We were heartbroken to hear he was so ill. We are so glad we made the trip to spend time with a dear friend we meet 30 years ago.
It's hard to say goodbye.
This was our last visit with Arnold 3/14/20. He was full of life, chatting and laughing. It was a gift and an honor to know this sweet guy and call him a friend.
Arnie once told me I was "good people". Im one that believes you gotta be one to know one, and that is exactly what Arnold is..good people. You instilled a lot of wisdom into me and taught me a ton about keeping tradition/family strong. I wish I couldve thanked you for all of that, sadly your gone to soon. I'll never forget blasting Pink and singing out loud on our way up to the cottage a few years ago..good times. I'll miss you "Poppa"
Memories
Precious memories of a boy who grew up into an amazing man and left too soon. Kind, generous and full of love for people. Always willing to help when needed. I am so glad we reconnected and you came back into my life. I will remember our trips and how much fun we had.
Your mom would have been so proud of her son.

Bumper Party
This is the weekend I met Arnie. I was very reserved as my aunt deserved only the best. I don’t think anyone will forget the Rocket Fuel Strawberries - he was so proud - these things would get you hammered in one bite and burned all the way down. I am happy to report he has since moved onto making the best cheesecake. It’s been years since that party but what I can say now with 100% certainty is that Arnie was the best, he was the best for my aunt and an unforgettable addition to our family.

“If this doesn't make you think about things differently. My great nephew. He doesn't know it yet but I think we are going to be buds” - Arnie

This photo shows the love these two had. A wonderful marriage that ended way too soon. RIP my son in law. Love you and will miss you❤️

Arnie has been a wonderful friend to us all. He always had time to help us out. He would drop whatever he was doing to support us any way he could. He would stand at the fence and talk or show us pictures of something he was proud of. (Usually his family) He made such a big impact on our boys. They learned about tools, and many important life lessons. We have been so lucky to have known him. We Love him and he will be greatly missed.

Memories of Christmas 2008. Clowning and laughing, as always.
Also, no pictures but in recent years Arnie came to see several of the boys' hockey games - a love of the game and a family man through and through.
