Obituary of Gordon O'Neil

O’NEIL, Gordon Weir

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on July 12, 2022 at the age of 82 years.  Son of the late James McFarlane and his wife Anna Robertson.  Predeceased by his brother James O’Neil, and his wife Christine McGarry McIsaac.  Survived by sister Sheila Tait, wife Marilyn MacDonald, sons Scot and Ryan.  Loved by grandchildren Evan, Caleigh, Owen, Vera and many brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) on Friday, July 15^th from 10:00am-11:00am.  A Service to celebrate Gord’s life will be held in the De Stefano Chapel at 11:00am. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Parkinson Society or ShareWord (formerly known as the Gideons).
