Mollica Lazzaro: Giovanni

It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of Giovanni Lazzaro in Whitby ON, on November 19th, 2022. He fought hard in his final moments, at the age of 87, and in the presence of his family, showed the strength that we will all always admire. 

Giovanni Mollica Lazzaro was born on February 22nd, 1935, to his parents Antonino, and Giovanna. Beloved husband the love of his life Maria. In this time, Loving father of , Antonino ( Angela) and Frances Lazzaro. Cherished Nonno of his grandchildren Jacob and Sophia.  Dear brother of Antonio (the late Jutta). Brother in law of Giuseppe (Orsola), Angelina (Salvatore), and Gino. Predeceased by his brother Antonino and sister Anna Maria (Enrico). Giovanni will be lovingly remembered by his many nephews, neices, family and friends. Special thank you to the staff in the Emergency, ICU and of Lakeridge Health Ajax for their compassion, care, and kindness during this difficult time.

Visitation for Giovanni will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Thursday November 24^th from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church Brooklin on Friday November 25^th at 2.00 pm. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
