Obituary of Peter Charles Jones

Peter passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 6th, 2023 at the age of 68. Loving husband and best friend to Sandra for 35 years. Father to Phillip (Jane), Michelle (Darryl), Tyler, and Allison (Kyle); Grandfather to Breanna. Son of the late Jacques and Linnette; Brother to Jacques (Karen), Robin (Patricia), and the late Gregory. Peter will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Peter was a man of integrity, commitment, and love. His passions were abundant and ever-evolving, from fishing, scuba diving, travelling, dancing, dominoes… the list could go on and on. Well known for his green thumb, Peter could grow anything. He was so proud of his many gardens over the years, including hot peppers and beautiful flowers that he would grow from seeds.

Peter wore many hats in his lifetime, he was an incredible man who would help anyone in need. His life experience and determination to keep learning meant he could fix anything and everything… even if he would somehow always be left with extra parts. He truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he would always reminisce about the many good times had at parties and vacations. Knowing him was a blessing that every one of us will cherish for the rest of our lives.

He fought so incredibly hard to stay with us, he was a warrior to have gone through everything he went through in these past few years and we are forever grateful to him for that. He will be in our hearts forever... until we meet again, we love you Peter.
