To the Rolph Family:
Our family has such great fond memories of Tim at Buckler's. Tim was our daughters, Alyssa and Sheri-Anne, first swimming instructor for many years and did such a wonderful job of teaching the girls to swim well as they both continued to complete all of their swimming badges. Our youngest, Sheri-Anne, is now in Bronze Medallion level at Bucklers, as Tim inspired her to continue on. Thanks Tim for all those wonderful memorable years of teaching. You will be sadly missed. Rest in peace!

We are saddened to hear of Tim's passing. He has been a part of our summer for so long as he taught our children how to swim and then our niece and nephew. The best swim teacher we have ever had, and a wonderful person...he will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

To Michael, Isabelle, and the Rolph Family,
Please accept our sincere and heartfelt deepest condolences for such a tragic loss. Tim has been an importance part of our family's fabric for almost 20 years since he was Brian's first swim instructor when he was only 18 months old. Both Brian and Brandon followed in his foot steps through swimming to eventually teaching at Buckler Aquatics. He was important to us all.
We hope that in coming days and weeks you find comfort in the many memories you have but also in knowing he has been a positive role model to so many fine young people.

To the Rolph Family,
Tim is the reason our daughters swim, and swim well. His firm encouragement not only started our daughters on their way to swimming, but led to a job within the Buckler family for both of them, and for our two nephews as well.
Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Rolph family at this very difficult time.
Tim will be remembered fondly. Rest in peace Tim.

You will be truly missed Tim, from being a teacher, to a boss, to a friend I feel like I have known you for my whole life. I will miss your texts betting me who was going to win the next MMA fight and wagering our next round of drinks, I will miss going to your place to train some new self defense techniques that were have been practicing, I will miss catching up over a couple of beers. You were a good friend and will be remembered as such.

We were so very sorry to hear of your loss! Certainly you know that Tim was loved by many at Buckler.
Our eldest son Aidan is turning 17 and 14 years ago Tim started "eating his french fries (his toes)!!!!" Tim had a wonderful personality and manner with the children. He was kind but firm and demanded the best from them.
Aidan, William, Caelan and Olivia are all saddened to hear of your loss.

Our family was utterly speechless when we got the news and still struggle to find the words.
A crime in the current pace of life is that we mistakingly think we have all of the time in the world to spend time with family and friends. We have many fond memories of Tim. Tim was one of not only my first students in DEFENDO training some 12 years ago but became an Instructor and stayed with us through the transition to our modern endeavours. Tim always had a smile when you spent time with him... and loved to laugh and be light-hearted. We always appreciated his kind and gentle way with folks he barely knew. If we had someone new or who was struggling with something we were teaching ... without hesitation... we would put Tim on them because he just had a unique way of making people feel comfortable and accepted. Tim you will be so missed. Please know you made an impact on our lives and on so many that have crossed our path.

It is with great sadness in my heart that our family needs to say good bye to a wonderful person and friend Tim Rolph. Our family will hold dear all the wonderful memories that were shared with Tim aka Timmy to my daughters. Not only were you a friend and a teacher, you were also part of our family. Your dedication to your work and your contribution to teaching the young and old was extraordinary. I hope that you have found inner peace. Until we meet again in the afterlife.

We are devastated by the news and will miss Tim greatly. He has become a part of our family and it's so hard to think that we won't see or talk to him anymore. We can't bear to break the news to our kids, they love him so much and are asking often when Tim is coming back to LA for a visit. We are sorry that we can not be there on Wednesday, but our thoughts are with you all. Sylvie
