Obituary of Andreina Rerecich

RERECICH, Andreina.

Passed away peacefully on March 14^th, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.  Loving wife of the late Marino Sr.  Beloved mother of Jane (Henry) and the late Marino Jr. Nonna of Amie (Kyle) and Jessica (Brian). Great Nonna of Westley. Dear sister of the late Mateja, and Angelina (Guerino), and dear sister-in-law to the late Antonio (Ines), and Carmen. Cherished Aunt of Irena (Pino), Michael (Anna),Guido (Katica), Sonja (Teo), Lorenzo (Manuela), and Antonella and their families. Andreina loved to socialize, dance, sing and entertain.  Andreina and Marino travelled to Lake Simcoe to their boat housed in a covered boat slip, much like going to a parked trailer, it was their escape. She only boated on Lake Simcoe, swam, ate and fished.  Andreina and Marino loved to travel and enjoyed many escapes to their condo in Treasure Island, many trips to various resorts in Cuba and trips home to Unije, Croatia.  Andreina and Marino were faced with the hardship of having a son with many health and physical challenges, she never faltered in her love and care for their son. She was loved and respected by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. The family wants to thank Hillsdale Estate, Moonlight Bay Staff and the 4F Comfort Care Staff, doctors and nurses for their support and wonderful care. 

Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Saturday March 18^th, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in the De Stefano Chapel at 1:00pm.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
