Marta - Always listening, always supporting; never judging. Marta’s strength, positivity, thoughtfulness and love for her family & friends were awe-inspiring. Although I only knew you for a few years, I say with absolute certainty that you have changed me for the better. As we journey through life we cross paths with many people, but only a select few become our TRIBE.
The kind of people that bring out the best in us, that stand beside us through thick and thin and that we can confide in without fear of judgement. These people enrich our lives making it brighter and more meaningful. Marta, our paths “re-crossed” 3 years ago, and from that day on I knew you were part of my TRIBE. You loved and lived fiercely and that was apparent through our many chats about any and everything- like homemade family Halloween costumes, Nespresso (or just coffee in general), birthday themes, the incredible blessing of motherhood at our age (and our own mothers) and most recently even gardening! There was never a topic too big or too small for us to gab about and I will cherish those conversations forever.
My dear friend, as your body finally gets the rest and peace it deserves, know that your heart and your legacy will live on through your TRIBE. xox

My family and I met Marta on the soccer field. My son and Austin played together in their first year of soccer while Frank coached. We connected and even had a playdate with our girls.
We spoke over messages just a few weeks ago about soccer and when our boys would play again together. I didn't know Marta well or for very long but I am happy to have met her, she was so kind.
Marta was an amazing to person and I am truly sadened of her loss. She will be missed.

My Dearest Marta,
Words cannot fully capture the depth of my emotions as I reflect upon the remarkable journey we shared over the past three decades. It fills my heart with both gratitude and sorrow to think of the memories we created together. You were not just a friend; you were a loving mother, wife, and a source of unwavering support.
Throughout the years, I witnessed firsthand the incredible love and dedication you poured into your family. Your children were blessed to have you as their mother, and your devotion to them was evident in every smile, every sacrifice, and every tender moment. Your role as a mother extended far beyond the ordinary; you nurtured their dreams, celebrated their accomplishments, and provided a safe harbor in times of uncertainty. Your impact on their lives will forever be imprinted in their hearts.
As a wife, you embodied the essence of love and commitment. Dear parents and Family,with a broken heart and eyes full of tears I am sending deep condolences flowing from my sincere heart .I remember Marta as a little girl living with her parents on Falby Court in Ajax about 1990 . Marta was smart and bright girl always in action.
I fully understand your grief and sorrow as I lost my dear son Jakub 3 years ago at the age of 43.
As a spiritual people you must remember Jesus teachings recorded in the book of John chapter 11 verse 11 .He spoke about death of his friend Lazarus and compared to deep sleep .Marta is sleeping free of pain and with the hope of resurrection.
My heart goes to her Family and her children .May the God of all comfort Jehovah be with you at this difficult time.

Marta. You were my best friend. The void in my heart will never go away. Our friendship began over fitness and weight training and doing figure competitions together. We were instant friends. I will miss our yearly trips to Pennsylvania for our birthdays, our mutual love of country music and chicken wings. Meeting our husbands and having our children together was the most special of memories. Being a wife and mom was truly your passion and I watched you shine. I worked with Marta at 43 Division. She had a smile that lit up the room. I enjoyed our chats and laughs. As the time went by I saw her train for her body building competitions, fall in love with Frank and become a mother twice. She was passionate about her family and friends. She was a good person with a big heart.
Marta will be missed. Until we meet again.
