Jerry was a true gentleman, a good rep and a true trade unionist. He made a significant contribution to our union in his roles as president of local 112 and international and national rep. I always enjoyed his company at Canadian Council and later on at our retired rep conferences. My wife Sharon and I extend our condolences to all the family, especially Jerry Jr who followed in his father's footsteps and of whom .Jerry Sr. was so proud of.

It is with sadness that Bonnie and I learned of Jerry's passing. Jerry and I spent some time together as Staff Members with the UAW/CAW. We also spent enjoyable time together with Juliet and Jerry in Port Elgin for many Council and Staff meetings. In debate, at Council and Staff meetings and in the Office, Jerry never left a doubt as to his views which were appreciated by those of us present. Countless workers lives were immensely improved by Jerry's dedication to them all. Well Done Brother, Well Done. Rest in Peace Gord and Bonnie Wilson.
