So sad to hear of Cec's passing. I taught with him at Cassandra PS during the first few years of my career. He was most kind, caring and helpful AND a wonderful teacher.

I’ll never forget “Mr Crozier”! I was so lucky to have him as my teacher at Cassandra for grades 5 and 6. His warmth spread through his classroom, as did his smile and his memorable laugh, as he enriched every student who had the privilege of being his student. His short-sleeved white dress-shirt attire, outside in ANY winter weather, was legendary. I hope he knew how much he was loved.

I remember Mr Crozier patrolling us kids at recess in the early 1970s...middle of winter...we were bundled up with scarves...hats...gloves...big jackets and he would walk around with a shirt and tie like it was July. Cassandra Public School North York. We were in awe of him.

We lived across from Cassandra School and every year, like clockwork, I watched Mr. Crosier and his class of excited pupils on their way to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. They travelled by TTC and he never lost a child (that I know of) on the excursion. My three children were in awe of Mr. Crosier and, on occasion, still mention him in memories of their time at Cassandra School. He was an indomitable spirit who was totally connected with each and every one of his students.

Mr. Crozier was my grade six teacher. I always thought of him as a gentle giant. He was so sensitive and caring. You knew you could always trust him to be fair and kind. I'm 60 years old now and have never forgotten him. May he rest in peace.

Dad. There is a void in our lives now that you are gone. What I wouldn’t give to hear you tell one more story or one more joke. To see you sitting by the lake with a book in your hands. To share a family dinner with you sitting at the head of the table. To give you a hug and tell you how much I love you. I hope you are at peace.
