Dad it's so hard to believe it's coming up to a year. I love you and miss you so much. I talk to Mom & Bruce once in awhile. I never knew losing you would hurt so much. So much has changed. I know your likely aware of that. I have my princess Diana picture you gave me. Finally lol. One afternoon I heard your voice saying my name. You sounded very stern. Reminded me of the voice recordings when you called and I wasn't home lol. I've been keeping in touch with Fred's son. He said he planted your castroil seeds that you gave him. . He's sending me some to. Your green thumb had such an effect on people Dad. I talked to Bruce at Christmas and he told me he misses you so much. I've never heard Bruce get emotional like that. We both cried together. You had a special effect on Ashleigh's boys to . They mention you quite often. They prayed for you when we had Christmas dinner. Wendy's children wished they had the opportunity to meet you. I showed them the video. They loved it. I will always keep your memory alive Dad.
I hope you and Carron are at peace now. Your heart was always in Paudash Lake now your finally home where you belong Dad . I'll come home soon for a visit. You might be gone but you'll never be forgotten. Love always and forever. Love Laurie,Mitch,Wendy, Ashleigh, Vickee & Mitchell and all your great grandchildren. .

I have been at a loss for words since hearing of your passing. I wanted to put down how much you have made me laugh and smile throughout the years I have know you, and what a great person you are. Your laughter was infectious and whoever that was around you if they were in a bad mood, you would make them happy. I realize you are resting peacefully and I wish your loved ones here on earth peace in knowing that. Your smiles, laughter and words of wisdom will forever be with me and in my heart. You are a great man Uncle Don. I will love you forever and miss you always..xoxo

Dad I want you to know I appreciate all the sacrifices you have made to raise seven children. It takes a dedicated hard working man to be a father. With all of your morals and beliefs you helped us become the people we are today. I'm proud of who you were as a man, everything you stood for, and things you built with your own two hands. I'll be forever grateful, and I will pass the morals and values that you have taught me onto my children. I will miss our long conversations, But I know you are where your meant to be now, resting with Carron. I love you with all my heart Dad, you will be forever missed, and always in my thoughts. Love Laurie
