I miss Mirko. I came to know him late in life and was shown how a man could continue despite severe limitations. He was and is a hero for me.

Mirko had a beautiful soul. Lucia and I will miss him deeply. Mirko was a pleasure to know and be around for every one of the almost 40 years I was lucky enough to know him. May you find pride and peace in the wisdom, teaching, and steadfast guidance he unselfishly shared with so many. It will be forever cherished, shared and passed on in his memory. My husband John and I were so lucky to have met and known Mirko for several years while we lived on Centennial Park Road in Kirkfield Ontario.He kept about 8 bee hives on our property for several years and there was always an abundance of honey for us as his way of thanking us for the use of our property. We were the ones that should thank him, not just for the honey but for the pleasure and priviledge of knowing. John and Coby Lees

Cot Family,
Mirko will always be remembered as a family, fun, loving man. When my parents celebrated their 50th anniversary, Mirko and Maria surprised them by joining them in Hawaii; my parents adored them and considered them special wonderful friends.
As for me and my family; we had the privilege of vacationing with them in Canada (at their cottage as well as venturing up north in an RV). My kids will always remember him for he taught them how to fish. His laughter and friendship will always be remembered.
May our dear friend Mirko rest in peace. His loving memory will always be in our hearts.
