Obituary of Luigi Gino Conforti

Beloved husband of Rosa for 57 years, a loving father to Joanna, Carmine, Lisa and Tony. Honoured father in-law to Aurelio, Annita, Kyle and Liz. Cherished Nonno to Paulina and Rosalea, loyal brother to Alberto (Iola). 

Gino was born August 27, 1946 in Paolo Cosenza, Italy to his late parents Carmine and Esterina Conforti. In an effort to build better life for his family, they eventually immigrated to Canada in 1964. He was a hard worker who took pride in providing for his family. 

Gino always enjoyed good food and wine surrounded by family and friends. His front door was always open and welcoming to everyone. 

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa on Monday March 18th from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday March 19th at 10:00am.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.
