It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn DeCoene on September 8, 2024 at Lakridge Gardens, age 65. Beloved wife to Andre DeCoene; loving mother to Steph (Nicole) and Sarah (Chris); caring grandmother to Landon and Autumn and her fur grandbabies, Akira and Laika.
Lynn was well known for her warming hospitality, delicous baking and her enthusiastic dance moves. She could often be found on the dance floor with her family and friends, singing and laughing to new and old classics tunes. The love she had for all those who crossed her path, never went unnoticed, as many know she would aways greet poeple with a hug and kiss. Lynn was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to call her a friend.
A visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive. Oshawa, Ontario L1J 0C7, on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 12:00-1:00pm, followed by a service at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzeihmer's Society, a organization dear to the family's heart.
