Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Godmother Bessie.
I just want to share a Christmas memory!
I will always remember sharing a Christmas toast, usually brandy or cognac, and enjoying Godmothers’ delicious amaretti cookies with an espresso. We chatted about the past year which included stories about our families and friends. I will always remember her contagious laugh and zest for life.

Olivia and I are at a loss for words. We still feel as if we will walk through the doors of Nonno and Nonna's home and be greeted with a loud "Ay! Pasqualino!" and it'll all be just right.
Nonna was truly the matriarch of our family. The way our family gathered around Nonna was a blessing that united us, and will continue to unite our family evermore.
Nonna's quick wit and contagious laughter will continue to play through our heads. We can still hear Nonna's trademark "Heh! Heh! Heh!" (all of the grandkids know exactly what we mean), ringing out as we all sat around the kitchen table, as the whole room lit up along with her. Nonno & Nonna's house will not be complete without her laughter.
We will miss you, Nonna. You made us proud to be who we are. You made us feel loved, special, and always cared for. We know someday we will be reunited, and we will share those laughs all over again. Until then, we will wait to open your door once more and be loved in a way only you could.

Gerald and I have so many fond memories of so many memorable events shared with Bessie and her family members over 30 some odd years. Certainly too many to mention/ but one I immediately thought of was a early one of waiting at the hospital for us to welcome our dear grandson Michael. Both of us were so proud as were all there to welcome this bright eyed wonder. We were then forever bonded with common purpose of family which meant so much to her and means so much to me. All those who are related to Bessie or knew her as a friend were given a rare blessing in their lives.
