Obituary of Keith Danielsen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Danielsen on Friday November 8, 2024. Born in Birmingham, England to Louis and Rosanna on November 13, 1945. Loving father to Lars (Andrea), and cherished grandfather to Ben and Spencer. Keith is predeceased by his brother Albert.

Keith often fondly spoke of his childhood visits to a local sports store in England and he always envisioned himself owning one like it one day. Keith made his dream a reality by proudly owning and operating Mount Kirby Skis & Boards. His stores have served ski, snowboard and outdoor enthusiasts in Durham Region and the GTA area for over 50 years.

Upon arriving in Canada in 1967, Keith found friendships through the many clubs and sports teams he was a part of. Keith was an avid golfer and was a member of the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club for over 40 years. He was also very active within several soccer, skiing and tennis clubs over the years.

He will be dearly missed by many friends in England and here at home in Oshawa. Up The Villa Keith!

Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Wednesday November 13, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM
