FOERSTER, Klaus Herman (Owner of Collette shoes in Oshawa, Affectionately known as "Mr Collette" and a fixture of the downtown from 1970 – 2000)
Born February 22, 1937, Klaus died peacefully, with his family by his side, on June 16, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 78. Klaus is the beloved husband of Evelyne of 56 years. Loving father of Anne (Mike), Karen (Patrick), Mark (Dana) and Robert (Ian). Cherished Opa to Melissa, Matthew, Jessica, Sarah, Ben, Zoe and Charlie. Dear great grandfather to Christina. True friend of Kaiser the Weiner dog. A service to celebrate Klaus’ life will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road, by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 Sunday, June 21st at 2:00pm in the DeStefano Chapel. A Drop-In Reception will follow in the Aviation Lounge at 2:45 pm, please come by and say "Prost" to Klaus! Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
