So so sorry to hear of the passing of a truly beautiful person. There are not too many people on this earth as genuine and caring as Betty. I always respected that she would honestly express what she felt even if it wasn't what I necessarily wanted to hear (although it was always what I needed to hear). Betty was one of the kindest, most generous, funny people I have ever met and my world is a little darker now that she is no longer here. I wish there was a facebook page for heaven. I'm sure she would be posting some incredible things. I will miss you my friend. My thought are with you Glyn and family and friends of the late and great Betty.

I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was such a joy to be around and had a great laugh. We worked together at Griffith and she always had me in tears from laughing so hard. Whenever we went to Bingo, it was the same story. There is now a new angel in Heaven.

I have only met Betty once, although during that short time many things were made very clear to me. Compounded by the stories I have been told, Betty appeared to me as an individual who lived life to it's fullest. A moto everyone should model their life after. Betty is clearly very witty with abgreat sense of humor and incredibly strong. After meeting Betty the personalities of the Kennedy's are ones that most definatley resemble Betty's. It goes without saying she has left a significant impression on her loved ones who without a doubt cherish the time they had with Betty.
My deepest condolences go to the loved ones of Betty during this hard time, although I am confident they will all exercise the strength Betty has shown and taught them all.

A beautiful soul, full of love and happiness ascended to heaven.
Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but I am blessed to have been able to share in Nanas life before she went to rest in eternal salvation.
Nothing could have prepared us for this loss, it came like a swift wind. I'll never forget your roast beef dinners, skating on the lake, family arguments over board games, and sharing a bottle of wine over a campfire at the cottage.
Although I am crushed you will not be there in person when Jeff and I exchange our vows for life long friendship and commitment, I know that you will be there in our hearts and would be the first person to toast! I am incredibly blessed to have known such a beautiful, Caring and strong woman even if it was only for a short time. Nana has departed from this earth, but hasn't truly left, as she is alive in our hearts and mind and through us, she will live on. Thank you for all of the laughs we have shared, Nana. I love you.
-your granddaughter in law, Ally

Nana, you sure were one of a kind which is probably why these past few days have not been easy for us, but I keep telling myself it's easier for you now.
You were loved so much by each and everyone of us, even when you would sass us with your tongue out or by showing us the middle finger. Growing up I felt so fragile and so delicate because I was so small but that did not matter to you. You’ve always made sure to rough house me every time you babysat Jeff and I which has helped shaped me into the tough person I am today, too bad it didn't work on Jeff. You've also taught me that although we may be short, you can't take shit from anyone. You are one of the strongest people I know and one of the most stubborn as well. You would never let anyone help you because you could manage just fine on your own.
Nana, you’ve shown me to never give up on anything I wanted especially when I was struggling through school but I’ve made it; I graduated. Watching you as I've grown up has helped shape me into the woman I am today: a strong, independent, short (gee thanks nana), and sassy individual haha. You've brought so much laughter into everyone's life no matter where you went or who you were with. Whether it was at family gatherings by leaving the price tag on each gift we received, at the cottage watching you rip on the sea-doo, or at 11:00 am trying to tell me and my friends to grab a glass of wine or a cooler and have a drink with you. You've brought love to each individual you've met by always making them hug you before saying goodbye and everyone who has had the opportunity to have been blessed with your presence is lucky (as you would say).
I cannot remember one weekend where I didn't go up to the cottage to see you on a Friday or Saturday night and you weren't headed out to party on the pontoon. My favourite memory of you is always having your box of wine and being a wild partier. Even your friends said that when you walked into a room you were the life of the party and everyone just flocked to you.
I have heard a lot of stories from your friends and family about you but a common denominator is how you never let one person walk away without a smile and still to this day you have never failed to leave us without smiling. Although it may not be the easiest time right now, there isn't a minute that goes by without one of us smiling and telling a story of something that you've done to make us laugh.
I can't thank you enough for all the things you've taught Nana, helping make me who I am today, which is why I know you'll always be with me. I love you nana so much, please be at peace now but always be there for me when I need you. So here's to you, with one hand with the finger in the air and a glass of wine in the other, I love you.

Nana there are so many words to describe you and even more stories that tag along. One thing for sure is you have always been a caring and loving woman. You are so strong to the point of where if I was with you I too felt stronger. You made people feel welcome and comfortable, even if you yelling at us. My life being with you has always been prodigious and memorable. I shall never forget the times we spent together along with every laugh we shared.
Even though you may have gone to a better place, the memories and thoughts will last forever.
I love you Nana and I always will.
Your grandson Jeff

I first met Betty when I was dating her son Alex. I immediately saw she was a warm, loving, caring, funny and strong woman. I felt very welcomed in her home.
Our relationship then changed and I was honored and privileged to have her as my mother-in-law. My respect and admiration only grew deeper with time. Out bond became stronger.
I will always cherish our family times together. I only hope that I was as great of a daughter-in-law to her as she was a mother-in-law to me.
She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. She will remain forever and ever in my heart.
With all my love, your daughter-in-law,
Christine

Although I only had the honor to meet Betty on one occasion last summer, she was a delightful woman who welcomed myself and a friend into her home. Her Granddaughter, Julia, invited us to her cottage for the weekend. Betty was young at heart, and all three of us enjoyed our time with her and Glen. She made myself, a very timid person, feel comfortable going out on the Sea-Doo with her. Her passing is very saddening, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.
