Donna and I first met in the 1980's in the old commercial services area of RBC. We got married at the same time, shared our birthday month, and had our kids at the same time too. We had a lot of fun in those early days, and we worked together at a few jobs together over the years, until her last job when she became ill again. Donna, we will miss your antics and jokes, your never ending zest for life. Rest in peace, my friend, till we meet again. Condolences to all her family.

My deepest condolences to the family. Donna and I have been friends for 30 years. We met at the bank as co-workers and Donna ended up as my Manager. We had some great times at work, she was such a joker. We never knew what she would do next. Donna was loved by so many people. She was the bravest, kindest and most positive person I have ever known. She never complained. When she first had breast cancer out VP allowed me to spend each day that she had chemo at Princess Margaret, which I was very thankful for. She used to introduce me as her chemo angel. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I will miss her for ever and always I will always caring thoughts of Donna in my heart. Rest in Peace my dear loving friend.

My deepest condolences to Steve, Brian, Andrew, and Shane, all of the Sharpe family and all of the Macdonald family. I had the honour of meeting Donna at the trailer park a few years back and Maureen and I were lucky enough to forge a friendship with Donna and Steve. We shared many of good nights sitting around the campfire laughing and having fun, l will cherish those memories forever. Donna, you will be missed, love you, rest in peace.

Donna you were always so full of life,such a positive person who brought a smile to everyone's face. You had such a great sense of humour and always kept that even when times were tough. I might not have ever said this to anyone, but I always loved the relationship you had with your sons. Mainly what I saw between you and Andrew, as he was the one I grew up with most. I remember you jumping on the dance floor at the centennial Park dances with the rest of us youngsters, and embarrassing Andrew and Shane of course. I thought you were so cool and like the "fun" mom. It truly was an honour to grow up around you, I really admired who you were as person and as a mother. Thank you for being a part of my experience at centennial park, and for introducing me to Andrew (someone I consider a brother to me) and to the rest of your family. Your spirit and presence will always remain in my heart and in my memories. Centennial park will never be the same without you. To the MacDonald and Sharpe family, I am so sorry for your loss and for everything you all have been through.

My condolences to the MacDonald and Sharpe families.I have not seen Donna in many years. We met as young teenagers and she was so much fun, always an adventure of some sort. She grew into a beautiful wife,mother and grandmother. The strength she showed through her struggles is not surprising to me. I know how much her family meant to her and she will be missed by many. I just want to say that this wonderful woman, Donna was very well loved while in this world & she will be cherished while she is away. I've known her since she was 13 years old, met her through my friends Mary & Millie & I was going out with her brother at the time. Over the years we lost touch but in 2009 I got to know her through her Facebook page,sending messages & pictures. I noticed all the family support she had & by just looking at her pictures & posts, she was happy wife, mother & grandmother! I am sending my condolences out to all her close family & friends. This Christmas we should celebrate Donna's life on earth. RIP with God & the angels my dear friend !

Donna and I have been friends for 40+ years
Keeping in touch through Facebook, we encouraged each other and shared our cancer stories
When I last saw her, we were laughing at some of our experiences with our cancers, and only Donna and I would find a laugh or two at such a horrible illness.
She always had a kind word for others, her smile was contagious and that laugh! When she let that laugh loose, everyone else laughed with her.
Dear friend, you will be missed. Your no longer suffering and at peace
