Dear Paula and Family: Andrew has told me that Joe put up a good fight against cancer. May I express my sympathy to you and your family. You and Joe were married young and shared many good years. I'm sure you are thankful for all your good memories. Andrew thought a lot of Joe and the help he gave him learning the food business.
As you know doubt know, Andrew lost his dad in November. We had 53 years together. Don was in a nursing home the last year with dementia. He was contented and liked the routine is the nursing home. The fact that Don was not living at home has help me through the grieving process.
May your family be a support to you during this time of loss. God bless. Joan

Dear Paula, Peter & David:
We were devastated to hear of Joe's passing. Deepest sympathy to you and the family.
A lot of years have passed since we were neighbours across the street in Holland Landing. But we have a ton of happy memories and laughs to cherish forever. We always loved to hear Joe sing and play his guitar for hours on end. Our memorable trip to St. Lucia together. The fun times by the pool with the kids. Saturday night parties laughing until the wee hours of the morning. So sad we lost touch over the years but will hold all our memories close. He was a great loving guy and taken way too soon!
Love to you all, Rob, Dianne & family.

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I remember my 1st time meeting him, playing his guitar at the house. David was just a baby. Being part of the family, we have some great memories. Whether a bbq, a swim, a birthday party, skiing, banquets or just a visit, there were always laughs and stories to tell. Joe was a very welcoming, social kind of guy.
Prayers and rest in peace Joe.
Sincerely, Peggy

Dear Paula, Peter & David
It has been a long time since Anne & I, last met as next door neighbours in Holland Landing as we moved August 1981 to Port Perry. We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Joe and extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to you, Peter, David and all of your family. As neighbours for six years we had wonderful memories visiting you and Joe and enjoyed our conversations. Joe always had that smiling face, humour and laughter which you could hear blocks away. Joe enjoyed playing hockey and I along with my brother Ron had a wonderful time playing with Joe at Doublerinks and our sponsor was Flamigo Homes which Joe got as a sponsor. Joe and I started a men's hockey league at Sharon arena and I understand it is still going after some 38 years.
We all will miss Joe, however, wonderful memories of the times we all spent together exchanging jokes, laughter and few far stories, playing hockey, swimming in your pool and be with all of us forever. Again, sincere condelences and our prayers and thoughts are extended to you and the boys. Joe was one hell of guy and neighbour and cherrish all of those memories.

Very sad to hear of the passing of a long time associate and friend, Joe Brewda. Joe was the Ontario sales force behind the aggressive growth of both Aberfoyle Springs and Fernbrook. Dealing with Joe for 25 years, I cannot say I have met a better man for honesty, integrity and commitment to his work. Our company heavily relied on Joe's expertise and guidance in a very competitive market. His quick smile diffused many situations.
I will miss our conversations both on a personal and business level.
My condolences to the extended Brewda family.

Paula, Peter and David,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss .....Joe was truly a great mentor and a kind man.
Joe gave me my first sales job 20 years ago, he took a chance on me even though I had no sales experience whatsoever ...... I remember my first interview, it was a snowy day and I'd never been in an office before and I was so nervous ... when I arrived I noticed some winter boots by the front door and naively assumed that I was supposed to take my dress shoes off .... I proceeded into Joe's office in my socks and he never mentioned a word during the interview about my lack of shoes ..... a few days later he called me back in for a second interview, he said I'd love to see you again and you can leave your shoes on this time !!
I will never forget his gentle style, warm smile and laugh .....
Rest in Peace Joe .... you will be missed ....
