1949 – 2016
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 14, 2016 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved son of Mary Wanda Paprocki and the late Stanley. Cherished father of Andrew (Andrea). Loving brother of Julianna (Steven Quinn). Dear uncle of Evelyn and Alex. Walter was the “glue of the family” and will be remembered for his warm heart and carefree spirit by his many family and friends in Canada, the U.S.A and abroad. Also remembered by Eva (Roberto) Lissia and the Divincenzo family; and by Robin, Jessica and Jacqueline Machon and their family. He left us far too soon and will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Saturday, February 20th from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00pm and on Sunday, February 21st from 11:00am-1:00pm. A service to celebrate Walter’s life will follow in the DeStefano Chapel at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liver Foundation.
