BONURA: Benedetta
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 after a courageous battle at the age of 83 years.
Beloved wife of the late Carlo. Loving mother of Joe (Pat) Bonura, Enza (Joe) LaMarca and Sam (Susan) Bonura. Cherished Nonna of Josie Mancuso, Carlo Bonura, Laura LaMarca, Ryan and Chris Bonura, Vincent LaMarca, Victoria Kane, Carla LaMarca, Zachary Bonura and Georgia Bonura. Loving great grandmother to 12. She will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends in Canada and Italy.
Friends may visit with the family at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON (south side of Taunton Road, just east of Thornton Road) 905-440-3595, on Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 4:00 to 9:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1100 Mary Street North, Oshawa, ON. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby, ON.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Durham Region Cancer Centre.
