I was very, very deeply saddened to learn about Gerry's passing. I had never met him, but for the last couple of years I had been responsible for responding to a national transit survey requiring detailed info about TTC vehicles (I just retired this year). As a result, I had dealt with Gerry with regards to the info that was needed for our streetcar fleet. He was very helpful, considerate, and conscientious in providing the info that I needed -- one of the best people I ever dealt with in that regard. Words are so very inadequate in a situation like this, but I want to express my deepest condolences and sympathies to his loved ones at this very difficult time.

You are going to be missed greatly...You were a full house. You knew how to have a great time. Everyone who you knew was impacted by you. Your last full day here you managed to meet a lady while kayaking, help her to be better at kayaking all while making it fun and with lots of laughter. The 2nd go around with you pulling me was the best..you got to impress & express the fun of two women in your life all while enjoying the idea of it all.
