Phyllis passed away on the day of her 70th birthday at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Phyllis was born to Ben and Anne Kaffko in Montreal and moved to Whitby in1998 to be closer to her family. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her loving husband Ali Mchaimeche. Dearest mother of Andrew (Corrine) of Whitby and Randy (Heather) of California. Cherished grandmother of Parker, Autumn and Sam. Also survived by her sister Karen (David) and brother Mark (Debbie) and predeceased by her sister Terri. Phyllis will also be missed by her niece and nephews. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Monday, June 27th from 12:00pm until time of the Service to Celebrate Phyllis’ life at 2:15pm in the Chapel. Interment Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care Unit.
Phyllis will be deeply missed and always loved.
