Passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer on July 13, 2016. Loving wife and best friend of Bruce for 43 years. Devoted mother of Jason (Carissa). Cherished and loving nannie of Addison and Jayce. Beloved daughter of Efthimia and the late Anthony. Loving sister of Julie Farmakis and Peter Farmakis. Favourite aunt of George and Anthony. Joanne will be fondly remembered by her family and friends here and in Greece. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18th at 10:00am at Saints Nectarios and Gerasimos Greek Orthodox Church, 399 Farewell Street, Oshawa.
