Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the age of 49. Beloved husband of Shevon; loving father of Anona, Trés, & Skye. Parents Melita and Moses. Brothers Bertlyn and Stennette, Sister Jacqueline. Mother and Father in-law Magdalena and Simon Le Compte. McLean will be remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers in-law, sisters in-law and many friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Wednesday, November 23rd from 5:00-9:00pm. A Celebration of McLean’s life will be held at Toronto East Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4548 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, on Thursday, November 24th, Service at 11:00am (viewing at 10:00am). In lieu of flowers and in memory of McLean, donations may be made to Cancer Research Society at www.crs-src.ca. For over nine years McLean was a faithful supporter of his god-daughter who was born with Spina Bifida. Donations may also be made to Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario at www.sbhao.on.ca.
