I enjoyed getting to know Gloria during our many visits through Durham Hospice. She was a lovely person and I know she touched many lives through her love and generosity. My sincere condolences to her family.

There are no words that adequately describe the loss we feel in Gloria's passing. She was an incredible person who wanted so much to share with others.
As a parent she was there to give advice and strength and love. Her smiles, her laughter, hugs and determination will be missed and forever in our hearts.
She overcame many trials and believed deeply in family. Her faith in God was something she shared openly and wisely.
We are deeply saddened and offer our condolences to Aunt Pat, her family, "Gloria's Girls" and there families.

Dear Lisa, Jenny and Andrea: So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.
We had shared many good times together with her and Murray over the 20 some years we had known her. We can think of many occasions of good times and fun.
We are sorry that Gail was unable to travel during those last few weeks, although the desire was there, so we didn't get to see your mother near the end.
We recall fondly the visit when Lisa brought her mother to see us a few months ago, and it meant a lot to us.
We believe that God makes no mistakes, so we trust in His sovereign will for our lives. So glad that you were able to share a lot of time with your mother during the past 3 years. Remember the faith that sustained her and motivated her over the years.
Please take comfort in the sympathy and prayers of many people, and rest in the comfort of the almighty God who knows all about our hurts.

Gloria did many things to help others. She loved people and was happy to share her time and gifts with them. She was Leland's honorary grandmother. She made a difference to him. She took him to hockey games, signed him up for soccer, took him to McDonald's for lunch and read stories to him at my home. She bought him birthday gifts and let him know that she cared for him.
Leland and I will miss Grandma Gloria very much. We are grateful to God that for many years she was a part of our lives. May God comfort you in your loss. May your many memories sustain you in the days that lie ahead.
