Peacefully passed at home, surrounded by his family on Friday June 9th 2017, at the age of 58.

Beloved Husband of Mary (nee Stanic). Loving father of Ben and Stephen.  Brother of Linda (Eric) of Winnipeg MB, Kathy (Norman) of Lower Sackville NS, and Paul of Trail BC. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and their families. Predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Phyllis Thompson, and sisters Nancy Rousseau, and Grace Barrington.  David will be lovingly remembered by his friends, family, colleagues at OPG, and those that had the pleasure of knowing him. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road  by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Thursday, June 15th from 1:00-3:00pm & 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Thursday, June 15th at 7:00pm.
