I worked with Melinda several years ago at Old City Hall. I am shocked to hear of her passing. It is unreal and unfair. She was a bright, bubbly young woman with an amazing sense of humour and always made me laugh. She was a joy to be around. I'm so sorry that her family and friends have lost her.

I worked with Melinda at Old City Hall several years ago. I'm so shocked to hear of her passing; it is unreal and unfair. I am so saddened to hear the news of Melinda's passing. I attended McMaster with her and she was a wonderful friend and classmate. I always looked forward to spending time with her for lunch. From the time we met in high school until the last time we saw each other at Whitby Christian, Melinda was faithful in her cheerful disposition and her deep care for those around her! I always marvelled at how she could bring people together. I have been praying for her over these many months and her passing is difficult to wrap my mind around. Thankfully that is why God's peace passes all understanding. I pray for her whole family, that that peace may be yours - resting in the fact that Melinda has now heard the beautiful words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"

My thoughts and prayers go out to Melinda's family and friends. May God give you much needed strength to cope with your loss. I went to school with Melinda and remember how kind she always was. Her smile will never be forgotten. She got her driver's licence before many of us did and proudly took her friends out for a stroll during the lunch hour :) Melinda's thoughtful and giving nature is something we can all learn from and appreciate as we keep her in our hearts and minds. I know of many angels that passed on the 22nd, including my own mom at the age of 40. Errol, you do not know me though you may know of me. Your beautiful wife and I were pregnant at the exact same time while working in the same office, our due dates were only a few days apart. Our daughters are only 2 weeks apart and Melinda and I journeyed through becoming mother's together. Our return to work was in parallel and we supported eachother in a bond that only we shared. The news of her passing has truly devastated me. The loss of my friend breaks my heart for you, your kids and your family. I have prayed for you, and will continue to do so.
